Platinum HydraFacial

Cleanse, extract, infuse — in a single pass.

The full HydraFacial protocol: vortex cleansing and gentle exfoliation, gentle extraction, and serum infusion. A dependable way to reset congested, dull or dehydrated skin between events.

  1. 01The surface is cleared — A spiral of fluid loosens and lifts away dead cells from the outermost layer.
  2. 02Pores are emptied — Gentle vortex suction draws oil and debris out of congested pores.
  3. 03Hydration goes in — Serums are delivered across the freshly cleared surface, where they are readily taken up.

Device treatment

Platinum HydraFacial

Every treatment begins with a physician consultation. A consultation is not a commitment to treatment.

What it is

The full HydraFacial protocol: vortex cleansing and gentle exfoliation, gentle extraction, and serum infusion. A dependable way to reset congested, dull or dehydrated skin between events.

What it addresses

Dull, dehydrated skin, congested pores and blackheads, the look of enlarged pores, fine dryness lines, uneven tone and tired-looking skin.

What you should see

Skin feels thoroughly cleansed and hydrated, and typically looks brighter, smoother and more even, with a fresh, healthy-looking glow. The effect is temporary and is maintained with regular treatments; results vary.

How it feels
Generally comfortable, with a cool, gentle suction.
When you see it
Skin typically looks fresher and more hydrated straight after treatment.
Skin types
Suitable for all skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI).

What it does not do

  • Does not reduce pore size in the long term
  • Does not treat acne scarring such as ice-pick or boxcar scars
  • Does not lift or tighten sagging skin
  • Does not reduce fat or reshape the face
  • Does not clear melasma or deep pigmentation
  • Not a substitute for laser, energy-based or injectable treatments

Who it is not for

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless an adapted protocol is used
  • Active skin infection, cold sores, open wounds or broken skin in the area
  • Sunburn, or a flare of rosacea, eczema or dermatitis
  • Severely inflamed or cystic acne, which suction could aggravate
  • Isotretinoin (such as Roaccutane) within the past six months
  • Recent laser resurfacing or a medium-depth peel, until fully healed
  • Allergy to aspirin (salicylates) or to any ingredient in the solutions

Areas

  • Forehead (congestion, dullness)
  • Cheeks (dehydration, rough texture)
  • Nose and smile-line area (blackheads, enlarged-looking pores)
  • Chin and around the mouth (oiliness, congestion)
  • Under-eye area (dryness, fine lines)
  • Jawline (dullness, congestion)
  • Neck (dullness, dryness)
  • Décolletage, when included (dryness, rough texture)

Downtime, in full

Usually minimal; mild pinkness may last a few hours. Most people go straight back to work or their day.

Comfort and anaesthesia

Generally comfortable, with a cool, gentle suction. A mild tingle is common during the exfoliating step, and anaesthetic is not usually needed.

Timeline

Skin typically looks fresher and more hydrated straight after treatment. The glow usually lasts from several days to a few weeks; for ongoing concerns, a short series a few weeks apart may be suggested, followed by maintenance around once a month.

After the treatment

  • Broad-spectrum sunscreen every day
  • Pause retinoids and strong acids for 24–48 hours
  • Avoid scrubs, and do not pick at the skin
  • Use a gentle moisturiser
  • Ideally, skip heavy make-up for a few hours

How people describe it

  • Clogged pores and blackheads
  • Skin that always feels dehydrated
  • Rough, uneven texture
  • A dull, greyish complexion
  • Oiliness that breaks make-up down
  • Fine lines from dryness
  • Pores that look enlarged
  • Skin that feels congested
