Dull & Dehydrated Skin

“My skin looks flat and tired, whatever I put on it.”

A flat, slightly grey cast with no natural light in the skin, often with tightness, fine dry lines and flaky patches where make-up refuses to sit well. It is commonly worse after flights and long days indoors.

Why it happens

Dull & Dehydrated Skin, explained plainly.

Skin looks luminous when its surface is smooth and well hydrated, so that light reflects evenly. When dead cells build up and the barrier loses water, the surface turns rough and light scatters, giving a flat, greyish look. Long hours in air-conditioning draw moisture from the skin, while heat, sun, long flights, poor sleep and smoking add to it. Natural cell turnover also slows with age, so dullness often becomes more noticeable over the years.
