Tired Eyes & Under-Eye Hollows
“People keep telling me I look tired, even when I'm not.”
A shadowed groove running from the inner corner of the eye towards the cheek, sometimes with darker colour, mild puffiness above it or fine, crinkled skin. It is usually present on both sides and looks deeper in overhead light.

Why it happens
Tired Eyes & Under-Eye Hollows, explained plainly.
The skin beneath the eyes is the thinnest on the face, with few oil glands and very little fat beneath it. With age, or simply by inheritance, the cushion of volume between the lower lid and the cheek diminishes, creating a hollow that casts a shadow. Vessels and pigment show through thin skin more readily, and fluid can collect overnight. Poor sleep, stress, allergies and screen-heavy days make everything more visible, although the underlying structure is usually the main cause.
