Laser Hair Removal for Women
Full-body diode laser hair removal, six sessions.
Venus Epileve diode laser with integrated skin cooling. A six-session full-body course of laser hair reduction.
- 01Light finds the hair — Diode laser light is absorbed by the pigment of the hair shaft rather than the surrounding skin.
- 02Heat reaches the follicle — The absorbed energy travels down the shaft as heat to the root of the follicle.
- 03The surface stays cool — A cooled applicator tip protects the upper layer of the skin while the follicle is treated.

Laser Hair Removal for Women
Every treatment begins with a physician consultation. A consultation is not a commitment to treatment.
What it is
Venus Epileve diode laser with integrated skin cooling. A six-session full-body course of laser hair reduction.
What it addresses
Unwanted body and facial hair, ingrown hairs, and irritation from shaving or waxing.
What you should see
Long-term hair reduction: fewer, finer hairs grow back, the skin feels smoother, and you need to shave or wax far less often. Occasional maintenance sessions may be needed, and individual results vary.

What it does not do
- Does not remove all hair in one session: it works over a course
- Does not treat loose skin, fat or cellulite
- Does not reliably fade existing dark marks from shaving or waxing; these may need a separate treatment
- Does not treat hormonal causes of excess hair, such as PCOS, which need a medical assessment
- Has little or no effect on white, grey, red or very fine, light hair
- Does not rule out occasional maintenance sessions
Who it is not for
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Active infection, open wounds or cold sores in the area
- Sunburn, or self-tan still on the skin
- Isotretinoin (oral acne medication) in the past six months
- Medication that makes the skin sensitive to light, such as certain antibiotics
- A history of keloid scarring

Areas
- Full body
- The full-body package does not include the face or the intimate area; these are quoted separately at consultation
Downtime, in full
Usually none. Mild redness and small, goosebump-like bumps around the follicles are common for a few hours, and most people carry on with their day straight away.
Comfort and anaesthesia
Most people feel a warm snap or sting, similar to a rubber band. The applicator cools the skin throughout, which helps; for sensitive areas, a topical anaesthetic cream may be applied beforehand.
Timeline
Treated hairs shed over one to three weeks after each session, and the reduction usually becomes noticeable within the first few sessions. The package is a course of six sessions, spaced four to eight weeks apart depending on the area; some people need more. Maintenance sessions once or twice a year are common.
After the treatment
- Avoid heat (sauna, steam, hot yoga) and intense exercise for 24–48 hours
- Avoid sun exposure, and apply SPF 50 to any treated skin that is exposed
- Between sessions, shave only: no waxing, plucking, threading or bleaching
- Exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours to help shed treated hairs
- Skip deodorant on the underarms for 24 hours
- Use a plain, fragrance-free moisturiser
- Pause retinoids and AHAs on any treated facial areas for 3–5 days
How people describe it
- Constant shaving, with stubble back within a day
- Painful ingrown hairs and razor bumps
- Darkened skin from waxing or plucking
- Visible hair in swimwear, gym wear or open clothing
- Hours lost every week to hair removal
- Inflamed, irritated hair follicles (folliculitis)
- Feeling self-conscious at the beach or in intimate moments
- Uneven regrowth and a dark stubble shadow
