Redness & Rosacea
“My cheeks are always red, and they flush at the slightest thing.”
A persistent pink-to-red flush across the centre of the face, often with fine visible vessels around the nose and cheeks, and sometimes small red bumps that can be mistaken for acne. The skin may sting, feel warm, or react to products that others tolerate easily.

Why it happens
Redness & Rosacea, explained plainly.
In redness-prone skin the small vessels of the central face dilate easily and are slow to settle, and the skin is often more reactive than average. Over time, flushing can become a constant background redness with fine visible vessels. Common triggers include sun, heat, spicy food, alcohol, hot drinks, exercise, stress and abrupt temperature changes, such as stepping from outdoor heat into strong air-conditioning. Rosacea is a long-term inflammatory condition, and not all facial redness is rosacea, so care begins with the right diagnosis and aims at calming and control.
