Energy reaches the foundation
Focused ultrasound passes through the intact surface and converges on the deep supporting layer of the skin.

Fibres contract
Precise points of heat cause existing collagen fibres to tighten along the treated lines.

New collagen forms
Over the following weeks the skin lays down fresh collagen and elastin around each point.
In words
Ultraformer MPT uses high-intensity focused ultrasound, delivered in micro-pulses. The energy passes through the surface of the skin without breaking it and converges at depths chosen by the practitioner, from the dermis down to the SMAS, the fibrous support layer beneath the skin and fat of the face. There it creates tiny, precise points of heat that cause existing collagen to contract, and over the following weeks the skin gradually forms new collagen.
