Diagnostic skin imaging
OBSERV 520
A facial imaging system that shows the condition of the skin beneath what the eye can see, so that a plan rests on evidence.
- The surface is mapped
- Hidden pigment appears
- A report takes shape
How it works
In three steps.
- 01
The surface is mapped
A first set of images records pores, fine lines and texture across the face.
- 02
Hidden pigment appears
Specialised light reveals sun damage and pigmentation that sit below the visible surface.
- 03
A report takes shape
Each layer of findings is gathered into a single skin report that guides the plan.
In words
OBSERV 520 photographs the face under a series of controlled lighting modes, from ordinary daylight to polarised and ultraviolet light. Each mode brings forward different features: surface texture and fine lines, pigmentation and sun damage beneath the surface, redness and visible vessels, oiliness and dehydration, and the bacterial activity associated with blemishes. Your practitioner reviews the images with you when planning treatment. It is an imaging tool and does not diagnose skin disease.
