Genetic testing looks at variations in your DNA that can inform how your body may respond to nutrition, exercise, certain medications and aspects of long-term health. At Savoy these tests sit inside the longevity and functional medicine service, which means the results are interpreted by a physician in the context of your history and goals rather than handed over as raw data.
Different panels answer different questions — from nutrition and metabolic tendencies to methylation and pharmacogenomic markers that relate to how medicines are processed. Which panel, if any, is useful for you is decided at your consultation, and a report on its own is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
